You can read all the books you like on buoyancy, human physiology, fluid dynamics, and any other relevant topic. But none of that helps when you jump into the deep end. We can only learn to swim by splashing around in shallow, safe waters, and gradually increasing skill and confidence until we are ready to tackle the bigger waves.
That’s why all the training we do at Medical Impro GB is practical and experiential. We provide no handouts, there are no PowerPoint slides, not flip-chart diagrams. What we offer is a chance to splash about in the shallow, safe waters of communication, using carefully honed exercises from the world of improv. A chance to experience in your body and mind, how it actually feels to listen well, be heard, be part of a team, have a positive conversation, or deal with contradiction. And we do it in a fun and safe environment that promotes easy and rapid learning that sticks. Come and swim with us – get in touch!
